Welcome to the Pummell Family History website

Welcome to my family history website. You will find information here about two sections of my family, based on my grandfather Frederic Pummell, and my grandmother Margaret Pummell (neé Derham).

When I started investigating my family history in 2008, little did I realise that my family would be so far spread around England and the rest of the world. I always thought that my family origins were firmly based in London. However, much to my surprise, I discovered that my great-great-grandparents came from Gloucestershire, Bristol, and Germany. Their occupations varied from coopers (barrel makers), sugar bakers, tailors, and cap manufacturers.

You will find mainly my direct descendents, their births, marriages, and deaths, and where they lived at various times in their lives.
